If you own a Galaxy Watch6 or newer and already use Samsung Wallet, simply open the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone and follow the on-screen instructions to install the watch plug-in. Samsung Pay users, Galaxy Watch5 owners, and non-Samsung phone users can download this dedicated plug-in to unlock payment functionality on their Galaxy Watch. Once activated, launching Samsung Wallet/Pay takes just one action: press and hold the Back key on your Watch, select your card, and tap near any NFC-enabled card reader to complete your transaction in seconds.

Security and privacy sit at the core of every payment you make. Your actual account number is never exposed to retailers—instead, Samsung Wallet/Pay generates a unique, single-use digital card number for each transaction, ensuring your sensitive financial data remains protected. Every payment requires PIN authorization, adding an extra layer of defense. Should you ever lose your Watch or have security concerns, you can remotely lock or erase your payment cards through the SmartThings Find service, giving you complete peace of mind wherever you are.
